Margaret Koon has 8 years of experience working with children, families, couples and individuals. Margaret is passionate about helping clients explore their goals and identify ways to implement changes. Margaret works with clients to empower them to decrease ADHD, anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder and reactive attachment disorder. Margaret works with children and adult survivors of childhood abuse to process trauma through the use of play therapy and narrative therapy. Margaret uses motivational interviewing to empower clients to take an active role in their own lives to make lasting, positive changes.
Margaret is equipped to help you identify positive ways to cope with life transitions, grief, loss, anxiety and depression by validating your experience and trusting that you are the expert for your own life along with giving you resources and tools to help you be successful on your journey. Margaret is a registered 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainer and incorporates mindfulness techniques during sessions to increase positive coping skills to reduce ADHD and anxiety.
